<text>Background: A problem that can occur in normal postpartum mothers is
postpartum discomfort due to uterine involution. Uterine involution in patients can
cause pain in the uterus which is called pain after pain. Discomfort caused by
uterine involution requires various treatments to minimize the pain felt by the
mother so that the mother's comfort can return. This can be overcome with nonpharmacological techniques for pain management through innovations such as near
infrared phototherapy or photobiomodulation near infrared (PBM NIR). Method:
The design of this study used a descriptive method in the form of a case study that
focused on the implementation of non-pharmacological techniques of pain
management nursing with NIR PBM therapy. Case study subjects were 3 normal
postpartum patients with the same problem, namely postpartum discomfort in the
obstetric room at Muhammadiyah Palembang Hospital. Results: The results
showed that the implementation of non-pharmacological techniques of pain
management with NIR PBM therapy had an effective effect on treating postpartum
discomfort with complaints of decreased discomfort, decreased moaning, and
strong uterine contractions. Conclusion: Implementation of pain management can
improve comfort status in normal postpartum mothers. The results of this study can
be used as a reference for learning to develop science and technology regarding the
implementation of non-pharmacological pain management techniques with
postpartum discomfort problems in normal postpartum patients.</text>

Background: Gastritis is an inflammation that occurs in the gastric mucosa that is
acute, chronic, diffuse, or local. Characteristics of signs of inflammation in the
stomach include anorexia, fullness or discomfort and pain in the epigastrium,
nausea, and vomiting. The most common is acute pain. The purpose of this study
was to reduce pain in gastritis patients. Methods: This type of research is
descriptive in the form of case studies using a nursing process approach which
includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, nursing interventions, nursing
implementation, and evaluation. The subjects studied were 2 patients with the
same nursing cases and problems, namely patients with acute pain problems at
Palembang Muhammadiyah Hospital. This research was conducted from March 2,
2021 to March 13, 2022. Results: the results of the research that has been
implemented, namely pain observation, the pain scale in the first patient is 6 and
the second patient is 5, with deep breathing relaxation techniques there is a change
in the pain scale to mild. with education about gastritis, after being presented with
education the two patients already understood the disease they were suffering
from. on collaborative drug administration, both patients were very cooperative
and took medication on time. Conclusion: Judging from the results of this study,
it is necessary to implement nursing with pain observation, deep breathing
relaxation techniques, education about pain and collaboration in administering
drugs to reduce acute pain, can be developed again and become lessons for further
research.

Background : Almost 1.13 billion people in the world have hypertension,
meaning that 1 in 3 people in the world are diagnosed with hypertension and will
continue to increase until 2025. So it is necessary to do a case study for this case
because almost people with hypertension experience pain and need pain
management. Methods : This type of research design uses a descriptive design in

of pain management nursing was carried out with the stages of observation,
therapeutic, education, collaboration for both patients, all patients were given the
same implementation and the problem was resolved for 3 days. Suggestion : It is
expected that patients and families can implement nursing in dealing with acute
pain in hypertensive patients independently in order to improve health status.

<text>Background: Based on the Riskesdas of South Sumatra in 2021, one of the symptoms of gastroenteritis, diarrhea, has 30,862 cases in toddlers. Gastroenteritis will cause abdominal pain that will be very detrimental to the patient's well-being. In the management of pain in children it is more advisable to use non-pharmacological techniques to avoids drug dependence and effective for a long term. Slow Stroke Back Massage therapy is a complementary technique that is safe and easy to reduce pain causing a relaxing effect so the perception of pain can decrease. Methods: This study uses a descriptive design with a case studies form through the nursing process approach. The subject consisted of 2 pediatric patients who had gastroenteritis, patient 1 aged 7 years and patient 2 aged 3 years with the same problem, acute pain. This case study was conducted at the Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Palembang in 2023. The data collection technique used by observation, interviews, and filling the instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Results: The implementation of Slow Stroke Back Massage Therapy to the both patients showed significant results. This was shown by the two patients where the pain intensity continued to decrease. In patient 1, it was a decrease to the mild pain and in patient 2 to no pain. Conclusion: The results of the implementation of slow stroke back massage therapy in both patients showed a decrease in pain levels so it was concluded that acute pain was resolved.</text>
