Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui pengaruh penerapan Health Belief Model (HBM) dalam upaya pencegahan keputihan patologis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang pada bulan September 2019. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Quasi Experimental dengan design Pretest-Posttest with control group. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 54 responden yang dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling dan dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan intervensi. Data dikumpulkan dalam dua tahap, sebelum dan setelah intervensi pendidikan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu karakteristik responden dan kuesioner komponen HBM. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Wilxocon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan perilaku pencegahan keputihan patologis setelah diberikan intervensi edukasi berbasis HBM pada kelompok intervensi dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol ditinjau dari persepsi" kerentanan, keseriusan, manfaat, hambatan, isyarat untuk bertindak dan keyakinan diri (p< 0,001). Menyimpulkan bahwa intervensi pendidikan dengan Pendekatan HBM efektif meningkatkan perilaku tindakan pencegahan keputihan patologis pada siswi SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang. The results of previous studies showed that many cadres had less knowledge about assessing the growth of children under five. Video media is one of the effective learning media that can increase knowledge because in the process it involves all the five senses, it is easier to understand and interesting. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample size was selected using a total sampling technique, namely 76 posyandu cadres at Dempo Health Center. Collecting data using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire related to the assessment of toddler growth. The results of the Marginal Homogeneity statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p-value< 0.05) so it was concluded that the intervention with video training on toddler growth was effective in increasing the knowledge of cadres.
