Description An account of the resource Katarak adalah suatu keadaan dimana lensa mata yang biasanya jernih dan bening menjadi keruh (Ilyas, 2004). Faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi terjadinya penyakit katarak antara lain faktor intrinsik yaitu umur, jenis Kelamin dan genetik sedangkan faktor ekstrinsik yaitu pekerjaan, pendidikan, perokok, lingkungan dan status ekonomi ( Irawan, 2008 ). WHO memperkirakan terdapat 45 juta penderita kebutaan di dunia, dimana sepertiganya berada di Asia Tenggara. Diperkirakan 12 orang menjadi buta tiap menit di dunia, dan 4 orang diantaranya berasal dari Asia Tenggara, sedangkan di Indonesia diperkirakan setiap menit ada satu orang menjadi buta. Sebagian besar orang buta (tunanetra) di Indonesia berada di daerah miskin dengan kondisi sosial ekonomi lemah. Tujuan penelitian Untuk mengetahui Hubungan Umur, dan Jenis Kelamin, Terhadap kejadian Katarak di Instalasi Rawat Jalan (Poli Mata) RS dr. Sobirin Kabupaten Musi Rawas Tahun 2014. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian survey analitik dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional dengan populasi responden yang berkunjung ke Poli Mata dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan alat ukur checklist jumlah sampel 48 responden. Dari hasil analisis univariat dilihat bahwa penderita katarak untuk kriteria Umur yang beresiko sebanyak 25 orang (93%),sedangkan pada Jenis Kelamin perempuan sebanyak 18 responden (67%). Dari hasil uji statistik p value = 0.065 (p < 0.05) untuk umur dan p value = 0.441 (p < 0.05) untuk jenis kelamin dengan demikian tidak ada hubungan yang bermakna antara Umur dan Jenis Kelamin dengan kejadian katarak. di Instalansi Rawat Jalan (Poli Mata) Rumah Sakit dr.Sobirin Kabupaten Musi Rawas Tahun 2014. Title A name given to the resource Complimentary Feeding Substitutions of Pumpkin and Snakehead Fish Flour Description An account of the resource Background. Malnutrition, notably underweight in infants, is a severe nutritional problem that must be addressed. To solve the problem of being skinny in toddlers by utilizing local food, complementary feeding with high protein and vitamin A levels must be offered. Pumpkin is abundant in beta-carotene, while snakehead fish is one of the animal protein sources with a high protein level. Baby porridge using snakehead fish meal and pumpkin flour as a substitute is predicted to be a complementary feeding that provides high protein and vitamin A. The goal of this study was to determine the acceptability of complementary feeding porridge and the effect of the substitution of pumpkin flour and snakehead fish on the level of nutrients and beta-carotene. Research Methods. This was a randomized controlled trial with two components and three degrees of substitution treatment of pumpkin flour and snakehead fish meal in the ratios of 100g:50g, 75g:75g, and 100g:50g. Proximate and beta-carotene analyses are used to determine nutritional level. The Friedman test was used to do a statistical analysis of the preference/hedonic test. Research Result. There are differences between complementary feeding made from pumpkin flour and snakehead fish and instant complementary feeding in terms of carbohydrate, protein, fat, energy, water level, ash level, and beta-carotene levels. The color and flavor of the complementary feeding are affected by the percentages of snakehead fish meal and pumpkin flour. Conclusion. Formula 1, with a ratio of 100g:50g, is the most popular formula for pumpkin flour and snakehead fish meal.
