Failure to breathe spontaneously and regularly after birth if not handled properly will be fatal for the baby's life. The purpose of this study was to determine the risk factors and incidence of asphyxia neonatorum. This study uses an analytical survey with a cross sectional approach, using secondary data from the medical record installation of Muhamadiyah Hospital Palembang for the period 1 Sept to 1 Oct 2016 with a total sampling technique of 156 births. statistical analysis using chi-square. The results of the analysis of the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum was 8.3%. There was a significant relationship between amniotic fluid mixed with meconium (p= 0,000; OR= 21,719) and prolonged second stage (p= 0,002; OR= 42,600) and asphyxia neonatorum. Early detection through regular antenatal examinations can minimize risk factors and the incidence of asphyxia neonatorum. Data dikumpulkan dalam dua tahap, sebelum dan setelah intervensi pendidikan dengan menggunakan dua instrumen yaitu karakterisk responden dan pengetahuan seputar kepuhan patologis. Uji reabilitas kuesioner menggunakan teknik split half denganngkatvariabel71%.Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan Uji Wilxocon. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan pengetahuan dalam upaya mengenal tanda,gejala dan pencegahan keputihan patologis setelah diberikan intervensi dengan Komik Kesehatan pada hasil postest dengan kenaikan sebesar 24,28% dan peningkatan skor rata-rata 7,2 point. The results of previous studies showed that many cadres had less knowledge about assessing the growth of children under five. Video media is one of the effective learning media that can increase knowledge because in the process it involves all the five senses, it is easier to understand and interesting. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pre-test post-test design. The sample size was selected using a total sampling technique, namely 76 posyandu cadres at Dempo Health Center. Collecting data using an instrument in the form of a questionnaire related to the assessment of toddler growth. The results of the Marginal Homogeneity statistical test obtained a p-value of 0.000 (p-value< 0.05) so it was concluded that the intervention with video training on toddler growth was effective in increasing the knowledge of cadres. Objectives: This study aims to describe the knowledge and attitudes of mothers in the care of newborns in the new normal. Methods: This research is descriptive analytic research using observational method. The population in this study were mothers aged 0-28 days who live in the work area of​​ Posyandu Jayalaksana RW 03 Village 3-4 Ulu Palembang with a sample of 44 people, data collection using questionnaires for assessment variables and attitudes using a Likert scale with a range of 1-5 which consists of favorable and unfavorable statements. Univariate data analysis to assess the characteristics and frequency distribution of variables Results: Knowledge is strongly influenced by age, education and occupation. most of the respondents have a fairly good knowledge of 61.4% and have a good attitude that is 59.1% in caring for newborns during the new normal period.
