Desain penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan keluarga. Aim: This study aim to develop a QoL measurement for productive age in the general population. Methodology: Based on the concept of quality of life theory, there are 45 question items on the Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) questionnaires used as initial indicators of QoL. The samples of this study were 25,476 productive ages (15-64 years). The Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) first-order excluded 13 items (loading factors < 0.3). Results: QoL-IFLS32, a reduced number of 32 items encompasses 7 dimensions: well-being, general health, physical, mental, social, community participation, and religion. The instrument meets the fit model criteria (AGFI = 0.917, GFI = 0.928, RMSEA = 0.05). The convergent validity was considered appropriate, with 29 of the 32 items correlated stronger with their assigned scale than a competing scale. 6 of 7 dimensions had construct reliability > 0.6 and good discriminant validity. The discriminant validity value was greater than the correlation between dimensions except for the physical dimension. Conclusion: This new findings of QoL instrument have acceptability of validity and reliability. The mean score of QoL was greater among ages 15-25, female, and highly educated. Students had a better QoL than worker and homemaker. Hasil penelitian ini teridentifikasi 4 tema yaitu: 1) respon caregiver yang meliputi persepsi, mekanisme koping, harapan, makna pengalaman dan dampak dari peran. 2) Perilaku caregiver yang meliputi pengamatan terhadap gejala penurunan daya ingat lansia dan kegiatan merawat lansia 3) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat 4) Pelayanan kesehatan yang dibutuhkan bagi lansia. Kesimpulan : Pengalaman caregiver sangat bervariasi, dengan respon, dampak, faktor penguat dan penghambat yang berbeda. Lanjut usia yang memiliki aktivitas sosial yang kurang baik memiliki risiko mengalami gangguan fungsi kognitif sebesar 1,857 kali disbanding lansia yang memiliki aktivitas sosial baik (OR=1,857). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh terapi bermain dengan mewarnai gambar dalam mengurangi tingkat kecemasan pada anak usia pra sekolah yang mengalami hospitalisasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama satu minggu mulai tanggal 16 – 23 November 2013 dengan jumlah respon sebanyak 30 orang. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Responden adalah anak usia 3-6 tahun yang mengalami hospitalisasi di Instalasi Rawat Inap Anak Non Infeksi Rumah Sakit Muhammad Hoesin Palembang Tahun 2013. Analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis univariabel dan bivariabel. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa responden sebagian besar anak kelompok umur 4 tahun (33,3%), sebanyak 56,7% berjenis kelamin perempuan dan 43,3% responden baru pertama kali mengalami hospitalisasi. Pada analisis dependent sample t-test diketahui ada pengaruh yang signifikan terapi bermain mewarnai gambar pada anak prasekolah yang mengalami hospitalisasi di IRNA Anak non infeksi RSMH Palembang (Pvalue = 0.001 , CI=95%).
