Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus (case study). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara (anamnesis), pemeriksaan fisik (inspeksi, palpasi, auskultasi, perkusi), pemeriksaan dalam, pemeriksaan penunjang lainnya dan observasi. Hasil asuhan komprehensif ini menunjukkan tadanya kesenjangan antara teori dan praktik di lapangan pada asuhan persalinan yaitu pada penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) yang digunakan kurang lengkap. Melalui Laporan Tugas Akhir ini diharapkan bagi pihak petugas kesehatan Az-Zahwa dapat mempertahankan dan meningkatkan mutu pelayanan kesehatan sesuai standar dalam memberikan asuhan kebidanan yang komprehensif. Title A name given to the resource ARTICLE REVIEW: EKSTRAK TANAMAN HERBAL SEBAGAI ANTIDIABETES PADA HEWAN COBA YANG DIINDUKSI ALOKSAN DAN STREPTOZOTOSIN Description An account of the resource ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Diabetes melitus adalah salah satu penyakit degeneratif berupa gangguan metabolisme yang ditandai dengan peningkatan kadar gula darah atau hiperglikemia, kelainan metabolisme karbohidrat, lemak dan protein serta peningkatan resiko penyakit kardiovaskuler. Pengobatan penyakit diabetes melitus menggunakan tanaman herbal sudah dibuktikan keberhasilannya. Sebagai upaya pengembangan obat herbal, telah banyak penelitian yang dilakukan untuk menguji efek antidiabetes dari ekstrak tanaman. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan article review terkait penelitian yang menggunakan ekstrak tanaman herbal dengan khasiat antidiabetes pada pengujian secara eksperimental menggunakan hewan coba yang diinduksi aloksan dan streptozotosin. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian non-eksperimental menggunakan pendekatan artikel review yang dianalisis secara deskriptif. Artikelartikel yang direview merupakan artikel yang telah dipublikasikan pada situs article database PubMed, Sience Direct dan Google Scholar dari tahun 2017 hingga tahun 2022. Hasil Penelitian: Penelitian dilakukan pada 20 artikel yang menggunakan ekstrak tanaman herbal yang berbeda-beda. Ekstrak daun kelor (Moringa oleifera) dan ekstrak krokot (Portulaca oleracea) adalah dua ekstrak yang memiliki banyak kandungan senyawa aktif dan efek antidiabetes yang paling baik. Senyawa aktif ekstrak yang memiliki efek antidiabetes merupakan golongan metabolit sekunder flavonoid, alkaloid, terpenoid, glikosida dan fenol. Didapat 4 (empat) mekanisme kerja antidibetes dari ekstrak tanaman herbal yaitu regenerasi sel β pankreas, penghambatan enzim α-glukosidase dan α-amilase, penghambatan enzim DPP-IV dan peningkatan translokasi GLUT-1 dan GLUT-4. Kesimpulan: Article Review ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui senyawa aktif dan mekanisme kerja ekstrak tanaman herbal yang memiliki khasiat antidiabetes.
