However, although the use of facemasks is relatively easy to do, its compliance is considered low. Objective: This study aimed to analyze compliance in wearing masks during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This cross-sectional study was conducted on 400 residents in Palembang, Indonesia, selected using simple random sampling from August to September 2021. Data were collected using online questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Chi-square, and multivariate using logistic regression. Results: The findings revealed that sex, education, and employment status were significant relationships to compliance to wearing masks (p<0.05), but age and family income were not significantly related (p>0.05). Multivariate analysis showed only perceived severity and cues to action had a significant relationship with compliance to wearing masks after it was controlled by the sex variable (p<0.05), with PR of 0.558 (95% CI 0.331-0.941) and 0.410 (95% CI 0.242-0.696), consecutively. Conclusion: Perceived severity and cues to action are factors that influence compliance to wearing masks. Therefore, these two factors should be considered by public health practitioners as well as the government to increase the compliance wearing masks. Children at five first years have a golden period of their development for learning skills. Parents face a barrier on the implementation of tooth brushing to their children. This paper outlines a new approach to presents “TOMON” or Tooth Monster Hunter for assisting the parents or medical staffs to help children for learning proper brushing skills through wearable tooth brush and its virtual game. Method: The research is an experimental study with a pre-test and post-test control group design. Our research used a technological approach to create educational wearable sensor for children. This experimental method is testing cause and effect. The cause in this research is the TOMON game and the effect is dental hygiene status. We also analyse the brushing behaviour change of the children. The research was done in TK (kindergarten) Islam Al-Azhar 14, TK PGRI 75 Kramas and TK Nurus Sunnah Semarang. Results: The results show that Debris Index of the experimental group change from the moderate category which is 66.7% and poor category which is 33.3% to all good category. In the control group, there is a change from the poor category which is 66.7% and the moderate category in 33.3% to all good category. The statistical analysis show that there is a significant change influence of TOMON in the brushing behaviour of children and dental hygiene status. Berdasarkan organoleptik, dari 8 sampel organoleptik baik, semua memenuhi syarat dan dari 5 sampel organoleptik tidak baik, 20% memenuhi syarat, 80% tidak memenuhi syarat. Berdasarkan lingkungan tempat penjualan, dari 7 sampel lingkungan tempat penjualan baik, semua memenuhi syarat dan dari 6 sampel lingkungan tempat penjualan tidak baik, 33,3% memenuhi syarat, 66,7% tidak memenuhi syarat. Berdasarkan lama penyimpanan, dari 10 sampel lama penyimpanan ≤1 bulan, 90% memenuhi syarat, 10% tidak memenuhi syarat, dan dari 3 sampel lama penyimpanan >1 bulan, semua tidak memenuhi syarat.
