Tujuan Penelitian : untuk mengetahui perbandingan hasil pemeriksaan kadar glukosa puasa dalam darah kapiler dengan vena dengan menggunakan alat glukometer. Metode Penelitian : Penelitian ini bersifat analitik, dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 3 sampai 5 Februari 2022. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kampus Jurusan Teknologi Laboratorium Medis Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang. Sampel penelitian ini sebanyak 33 sampel. Teknik sampling yang dilakukan adalah Teknik simple random sampling. Hasil Penelitian : Berdasarkan hasil uji t dependent, didapatkan nilai rata-rata pemeriksaan kadar glukosa puasa menggunakan alat glukometer dari darah kapiler sebesar 82,88 mg/dL dan nilai rata-rata kadar glukosa puasa menggunakan alat glukometer dari darah vena sebesar 93,24 mg/dL. Didapatkan hasil P value < P α . Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan hasil yang bermakna secara uji statistik t dependent pada pemeriksaan glukosa puasa darah puasa dalam darah kapiler dengan darah vena yang diukur menggunakan alat glukometer. Saran : Penggunaan alat glukometer pada pemeriksaan glukosa darah dengan menggunakan sampel darah kapiler dan vena masih dalam batas toleransi. Description An account of the resource ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition when a systolic blood pressure is 130 mmHg or more and a diastolic blood pressure is over 80 mmHg. Giving combination treatment through slow deep breathing exercises and boiled water of bay leaves is an alternative treatment that has no side effects. The purpose of this study was to see the effect of the combination of slow deep breathing exercises and boiled water of bay leaves on systolic and diastolic blood pressure. This study used quantitative pre-experimental approach with one-group pre-post design. This research was conducted at Sekip Public Health Center Palembang on May 2021. In addition, there are 18 people participated in this study. Their participations were achieved through simple random technique. Data analysis was carried out in both univariate and bivariate way using the statistical Wilcoxon test. The results revealed that there was an effect of the combination of slow deep breathing exercises and boiled water of bay leaves on systolic blood pressure (p value = 0.000) and diastolic blood pressure (p value = 0.003). The conclusion of this study is that the combination of slow deep breathing exercises and boiled water of bay leaves has a synergistic effect to patients with hypertension’s blood pressure. TB paru merupakan salah satu penyakit kronis yang menyebabkan hiperglikemia. Hiperglikemia terjadi karena salah satu efek negatif dari OAT ( Obat Anti Tuberkulosis) yaitu isoniazid. Defisiensi vitamin B6 akan merusak pankreas yang menyebabkan hiperglikemia.Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar glukosa darah pada pasien TB paru yang mendapatkan terapi OAT berdasarkan usia, jenis kelamin dan lamanya pengobatan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah observasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 73 pasien yang diambil secara purposive sampling. Pemeriksaan kadar glukosa darah menggunakan alat photometer Dirui DR-7000D metode Glucose Oksidase (GOD-PAP). Hasil kadar glukosa darah tinggi sebanyak 17 pasien (23,3%) dan kadar glukosa darah normal sebanyak 56 pasien (76,7%). Berdasarkan usia, terdapat 14 pasien (43,75%) dengan usia 40 tahun dan 3 pasien (7,3%) dengan usia < 40 tahun memiliki kadar glukosa darah tinggi. Berdasarkan jenis kelamin, terdapat 10 pasien (22,2 %) jenis kelamin laki-laki dan 7 pasien (25%) jenis kelamin perempuan memiliki kadar glukosa darah tinggi. Berdasarkan lamanya pengobatan, terdapat 12 pasien (20,3%) fase intensif dan 5 pasien (35,7%) fase lanjutan memiliki kadar glukosa darah tinggi. Background: Background: Physiological needs are things that are absolutely fulfilled by humans to survive. A fracture is a break in the continuity of the bone, which is usually caused by trauma or physical exertion. Postoperative pain is a problem that often occurs in postoperative fracture patients. The problem raised in this case study is acute pain in postoperative fracture patients. The purpose of this case study is to implement pain management in postoperative fracture patients with cold compresses. Methods : The design of this research is described in the form of a case study. The approach used is a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnoses, planning, implementation, evaluation, and nursing documentation. The subjects in this study were 2 people with the same criteria, namely postoperative fracture patients. This research was conducted at Siti Fatimah Hospital, South Sumatra Province, on March 19, 2022 and April 9, 2022. Results : The results showed that pain management with non-pharmacological techniques in the form of cold compresses was effective in reducing pain in postoperative fracture patients. In patient 1 before pain management was carried out with non-pharmacological techniques in the form of cold compresses on a pain scale of 6, after cold compresses were carried out for 5-10 minutes for three days, the pain scale became 3. Whereas for patient 2 before pain management was carried out with non-pharmacological techniques in the form of cold compresses, the pain scale was 7, after cold compresses were carried out for 5-10 minutes for three days, the pain scale became 3. Conclusion : The application of cold compresses that have been carried out can reduce the level of pain felt by postoperative fracture patients. Families are able to increase knowledge related to pain and apply it so that when other family members experience pain, appropriate treatment can be carried out.
