Populasi adalah seluruh resep nyeri sendi yang masuk pada bulan Juli sampai Desember 2018 yang berjumlah 150 resep dan sampel pada penelitian ini adalah sama dengan populasi. Hasil penelitian mengenai peresepan obat-obat untuk kasus nyeri sendi pada pasien lanjut usia di Puskesmas Kenten periode bulan Juli – Desember 2018 meliputi ketepatan pemilihan obat, ketepatan dosis obat, dan pemberian obat pendamping. Berdasarkan daftar hasil dari analisis kesesuaian resep nyeri sendi di Puskesmas Kenten periode bulan Juli sampai dengan Desember 2018 pemilihan peresepan berdasarkan Jenis Obat yang sesuai 52 lembar resep (34,67%), sedangkan jenis obat yang tidak sesuai 98 lembar resep (65,33%), peresepan obat sesuai dosis obat sebanyak 72 lembar resep (48%) dan yang tidak sesuai dosis obat sebanyak 78 lembar resep (52%) sedangkan peresepan obat kombinasi sesuai sebanyak 6 lembar resep (26,01%) dan obat kombinasi tidak sesuai sebanyak 17 lembar resep (73,91%). Berdasarkan tabel Ketepatan Dosis Obat Kasus Nyeri Sendi pada Pasien Lanjut Usia di Puskesmas Kenten Periode Juli - Desember 2018 menunjukkan bahwa jenis obat nyeri sendi berdasarkan dosis tidak tepat yang tertinggi adalah piroxicam sebanyak 26 lembar resep (17,3%). Simpulan dari penelitian adalah tingkat persentase peresepan obat dilihat dari jenis obat masih sangat tinggi yaitu 62% tidak sesuai dan 38% sesuai. Tingkat Persentase peresepan obat dilihat dari dosis obat juga masih sangat tinggi yaitu 55% tidak sesuai dan 45 % sesuai. Sedangkan masih terdapat peresepan obat kombinasi sekalipun jumlahnya tidak banyak yaitu Metil Prednison dan Meloxicam yang ketersediaan / stok obatnya tidak terdapat di Puskesmas.
