                <text>Dental anxiety is a state of concern that something terrible will happen in connection with dental care or certain aspects of dental care. The level of dental anxiety was most commonly found in children (20, 48%). Therefore, an alternative to overcome this problem is to use a virtual reality box. This tool is designed to evoke a 3-dimensional atmosphere so that the user seems to be able to see in real. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectof the virtual reality box on the child's anxiety level at the time of primary tooth extraction. This research is a quasi-experimental research with a case-control design. With research subjects selected through Non-Probability Sampling with Purposive Sampling technique. With a total sample of 58 people consisting of children in the age category 6-12years. Data were analyzed bivariately using Independent T Test. After the entire series of activities is carried out, then the distribution data results show a significance value lower than the probability value, which is 0.000&#13;
&lt; 0.05. This shows that there is an effect of using a virtual reality box on the level of anxiety in children who have their primary teeth extracted</text>

                <text>Latar belakang : Penyuluhan kesehatan gigi dan mulut merupakan upaya yang dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kesehatan gigi. Makanan keriogenik merupakan salah satu penyebab pembentukan plak sehingga dapat memicu terjadinya karies gigi. Busy book adalah buku kain dengan halaman kegiatan yang dibuat dalam bentuk buku. Scrap book adalah seni menempel pada suatu media (biasanya kertas). Tujuan : Diketahuinya perbandingan penyuluhan tingkat pengetahuan anak tentang makanan kariogenik dengan menggunakan media busy book dan scrapbook di TK Anggrek Palembang. Metode : yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment. Penelitian ini menggunakan pretest-posttest group desain. Sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 40 orang yang masing-masing kelompok berjumlah 20 orang. Tiap kelompok diberikan lembar pretest dan posttest untuk didapatkan hasil rata-rata pengetahuan setelah dan sebelum dilakukan penyuluhan. Hasil : Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa selisih rata-rata pengetahuan anak kelompok 1 yang diberi penyuluhan dengan busy book adalah 6.3 dan kelompok 2 adalah 4.9. Dari rata�rata tersebut ada perbedaan rata-rata skor pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberi penyuluhan dengan busybook dan scrap book. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai p Value &lt;0,050 yaitu 0,031 yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Kesimpulan : Terdapat perbedaan dilihat dari selisih rata-rata skor pengetahuan makanan kariogenik sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan menggunakan media busy book dan media scrap book. Penggunaan media busy book dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan anak lebih meningkat aripada menggunakan media scrap book.&#13;

                <text>Background: The poor condition of the visually impaired’s mouth is in consequence of unsupervised brushing teeth, technical errors in brushing the &#13;
teeth, motor skill and guidance that are still neglected. To overcome these things, it requires special media namely braille media and an innovative technique known as audio tactile technique.&#13;
Method: This study used quasi-experimental method with pre-test and post�test one group design which population and sample were visually impaired&#13;
children in Special Needs School: Rehabilitation Center for the Blind and Visually Impaired (SLB-A PRPCN) Palembang. The total of the sample was 21 children which divided into three treatment groups (Braille 3G Media, Audio Tactile, and Braille 3G Modified Audio Tactile). The status of Dental and Oral Health of children was assessed by using plaque score assessment in the form  of Patient Hygiene Performance Index for one month and two month with &#13;
Anova-test analysis. &#13;
Results: The result shows that there is a very striking difference in plaque after one month (0.019) and after two months (0.030). Further analysis with the Post &#13;
Hoc test shows that the groups that differed significantly in the plaque index after one month and two months are braille with modification and audio tactile &#13;
with modification.&#13;
Conclusion: From the evidence, we can see that the braille 3G modified audio tactile media is more effective in reducing the plaque index because it can improve the dental health status of visually impaired children.&#13;

kesehatan gigi meliputi pengetahuan, sikap, dan tindakan yang berkaitan dengan konsep &#13;
sehat dan sakit gigi serta upaya pencegahannya. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode &#13;
penelitian quasi eksperimental design dengan rancangan penelitian one group pre-test&#13;
post-test design. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa taman kanak�kanak di Wilayah Kecamatan Ilir Barat I Kota Palembang. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 68 &#13;
pasang siswa dan ibu dengan total 136 dengan teknik random sampling. Data yang &#13;
diperoleh diuji menggunakan analisis uji T, digunakan apabila data terdistribudi normal. &#13;
Hasil penelitian menunjukan ada perbedaan pengetahuan dan perilaku ibu sebelum dan &#13;
sesudah penyuluhan dengan media irene’s donuts. Media irene’s donuts efektif &#13;

                <text>In Covid-19 pandemic era, wearing of face mask has become a necessity, not only in hospitals but also in society. Although wearing face mask can reduce the risk of transmitting SARS-CoV-2 infection, it has certain detrimental effects. One of the side effects to pay attention to is the wearer's oral health, namely mask mouth or xerostomia or what is commonly referred to as dry mouth syndrome. This study aim was to determine the effect of wearing face masks on the occurrence of dry mouth. This cross sectional study was conducted in February 2021. Sample consisted of 82 people aged 18-45 years in Kemuning Subdistrict, Sekip Jaya, Palembang, South Sumatera who were taken by simple random sampling. Data was obtained from filling out online questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-square test with the significance interval 95%. Respondents who wear cloth mask, medical mask, and N95 mask and experiencing dry mouth as many as 95.4%, 80%, and 80%, respectively. Dry mouth were occur on 50% respondents who wear face mask &lt;1 hour, 100% respondents who wear face mask for 1-2 hours and 2-4 hours, 55.6% respondens who wear face mask for 5-6 hours and 83.9% respondents who wear face mask &gt;6 hours. There was no significant association between type of face mask with occurrence of dry mouth (p&gt;0.05). Otherwise, there was significant association between duration wearing face mask with occurrence of dry mouth (p&lt;0.05). It can be concluded that wearing face mask can promote the dry mouth.&#13;
