Typhoid fever is a multi-organ disease caused mainly by Salmonella typhi serotypes and Salmonella paratyphi serotypes A, B, and C. Typhoid feveroccurs in the small intestine and can be transmitted through food, mouth, andwater contaminated with Salmonella and with symptoms of severe polybacterialdisease to relatively mild with low-grade fever, extending to diarrhea. The perceived problem is a nutritional deficit. To overcome and prevent nutritional deficits, nutritional management is necessary.
The type of research used in this study was descriptive in the form of a casestudy to explore the implementation of nursing in children with typhoid fever with nutritional deficits. The case study subjects used in this nursing research were individuals whose cases were studied in detail and in depth. The subjects studied were two pediatric patients aged 1-4 years with the same cases and nursing problems, namely typhoid fever patients with nutritional deficit problems and willing to become respondents by signing informed consentre presented by the client's family. This case study was conducted at Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang. The time of this research was carried out in March 2022.
The results showed that nutritional management is effective in patients with nutritional deficits in any case, especially in cases of typhoid fever.

Ministry, Palembang. Supervisor (1) : Sri Endriyani, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kes. Supervisor (2) : Dr. Ira Kusumawaty, S.KP., M.Kes., MPH. Background : Hallucinations are a form of perception or sensory experience that does
not stimulate the receptors. Where is the loss of an individual's ability to
distinguish internal stimuli (thoughts) and external stimuli (the outside world). Hallucinations can remove control from individuals so that they can harm
themselves and others, or damage the environment. Methods: This type of research is descriptive with a case study design using a
comprehensive nursing process approach including assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing planning, nursing implementation and nursing evaluation. Results: The results of the study showed that the implementation of rebuking strategies
in hallucinating patients was very helpful in controlling their hallucinations and in
their recovery. Seeing the results of this study, it is hoped that it will be useful in
adding information to patients about the implementation of nursing for
schizophrenia with problems with sensory perception disorders and auditory
hallucinations. Conclusion : Rebuking hallucinations by covering the ears can reduce the level of
hallucinations because patients become more focused and concentrated. Keywords: rebuke, hallucinations, schizophrenia, auditory hallucinations

Postoperative Mastectomy at Muhammadiyah Hospital
Palembang in 2022. Diploma III Nursing Program,
Department of Nursing, Poltekkes Kemenkes Palembang.
Advisor (I): Ismar Agustin, S.Kp. M.Kes Advisor (II):
Azwaldi, APP, M.Kes
Background : Surgery is a potential or actual threat to a person's integrity, both
biopsychosocial and spiritual. One of the treatments for breast cancer is surgery, either
tumor removal or mastectomy. The problem that often arises in postoperative patients
is pain, which can affect the patient's overall condition.
Methods : This case study design uses a descriptive method. The sampling method
used was purposive sampling with 2 respondents, namely post-mastectomy patients in
the Surgical Room of Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang, in March 2022. The case
study data were taken using interviews, observations and physical examinations carried
out descriptively and presented in a narrative manner.
Results: After implementing acute post-mastectomy pain management with deep
breathing relaxation therapy in both case study subjects for 3 days there was a 3 point
reduction in pain scale, in patient 1 from pain scale 6 to pain scale 3, in patient 2 from
pain scale 5 to a pain scale of 2, and both case study subjects were able to move and
fulfill basic needs independently.
Conclusion : Acute pain management with deep breathing relaxation therapy can
reduce pain scale and help patients move quickly.

<text>Background:This research is based on the framework of thinking that the Guided
Imagination Technique is one of the non-pharmacological techniques to reduce
postoperative pain in sectio caesarea. The aims of the study were (1): To describe
the guided imagination technique in post-SC surgery mothers with acute pain
problems. (2): Analyzing the results of the implementation of guided imagination
technique therapy in post-SC surgery mothers with acute pain problems.
Methods: This study uses a descriptive method in the form of a case study with a
nursing process approach consisting of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning,
implementation, evaluation and documentation. This case study focuses on the
nursing implementation of guided imagination techniques and the provision of
health education on guided imagination techniques. The case study subjects were
two post sectio caesarea maternal patients with acute pain problems in the Siti
Walidah Obstetrics Room, Muhammadiyah Hospital Palembang and were carried
out starting March 11, 2022.
Results: The guided imagination technique has an effective effect on overcoming
acute pain in post sectio caesarea mothers so that the acute pain experienced by
mothers is reduced. Patient 1 from a pain scale of 8 to 2 and Patient 2 from a pain
scale of 7 to 3. Both patients can also carry out activities independently and can
increase patient knowledge about guided imagining techniques to reduce post
sectio caesarea pain.
Conclusion: The guided imagination technique in post sectio caesarea patients
with acute pain can effectively reduce pain in both patients and can be used and
developed again for further research.

Background: Mastectomy is the removal of breast cancer by removing the entire
breast tissue. In cases of breast cancer patients who will undergo breast removal
surgery (mastectomy) show expressions that reflect anxiety, depression and
negativism or rejection.
Methods: The design of this study used a descriptive method. The sampling
method used was purposive sampling with 2 respondents, namely patients with
pre-mastectomy surgery in the Surgical Room of Muhammadiyah Hospital, in
March 2022. The data of this study were taken using questionnaires, interviews,
observations and physical examinations were carried out descriptively and
presented in a narrative manner.
Results: The study found that sleep pattern disturbances were caused by
psychological changes in patients with patient data complaining of difficulty
sleeping, with poor categories of insomnia scores 13 and 12, the implementation
of sleep support in the form of autogenic relaxation helped patients reduce sleep
pattern disturbances with a response to decreasing insomnia scores to 7 and 6 and
convey a more relaxed feeling after autogenic relaxation activities.
Conclusion: The results of the study illustrate the need for sleep support
interventions in the form of autogenic relaxation to reduce disturbed sleep
patterns.

<text>Amelia, Jenny (2022). Nursing Implementation of Distraction Techniques in
Children with Dengue Fever with Anxiety at Siti Fatimah Hospital
Palembang in 2022. Diploma III Nursing Program, Department of Nursing,
Poltekkes, Ministry of Health, Palembang. Supervisor (I) Jawiah,
S.Pd,.S.Kep,.M.Kes. Supervisor (II) Rehana, S.Pd.,S.Kep,.M.Kes.
Background: Based on Medical Record data at Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang,
there were 20 children aged 3-6 years who experienced Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever
from 2019 to 2021. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever children must immediately receive
invasive treatment by being hospitalized (hospitalization), the main response The
most common when a child undergoes hospitalization is anxiety (anxiety). The
level of anxiety in children can be overcome by providing therapy that is able to
create a sense of security and comfort for children, one of which is the provision of
drawing and coloring distraction techniques. Drawing and coloring aims to make
children happy, not afraid and can be used as an entertainment when children are
hospitalized. Methods: This case study design is a descriptive design in the form
of a case study with a nursing process approach consisting of assessment, nursing
diagnosis, planning (intervention), implementation (implementation), evaluation
and documentation. The case study subjects were two pediatric patients with
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever, patient 1 aged 3 years 5 months and patient 2 aged 5
years 9 months who experienced the same nursing problem, namely anxiety. This
case study was conducted at Siti Fatimah Hospital Palembang in 2022. The data
collection technique was by means of observation, interviews and filling out case
study instruments for 3 days in the treatment room. Results: The implementation
of nursing provided in the form of distraction techniques of drawing and coloring
has an effect on reducing the anxiety experienced by pediatric patients during
hospitalization. Anxiety scores decreased significantly after drawing and coloring
distraction techniques were applied. In patient 1, there was a moderate decrease in
anxiety and in patient 2, there was a moderate decrease in anxiety. Suggestion: It
is hoped that the patient's family can recognize the signs of anxiety in children so
that parents are able to manage anxiety in children. The results of this case study
are also expected to be a source of information and learning references to develop
science and technology, especially in pediatric nursing regarding the
implementation of Anxiety Reduction and Distraction Techniques (Drawing and
Coloring) nursing with anxiety problems due to hospitalization in children.
