<text>Abstract - Complete basic immunization status must be
obtained by toddlers, as well as good nutritional status
that must be fulfilled for the growth and development of
toddlers. This can increase the immunity and resilience of
children under five against ARI events that are susceptible
to infants. The purpose of this research is to find out the
Relationship between Basic Immunization and Nutritional
Status with ARI Occurrence in Toddlers Aged 1-5 Years
at Merdeka Public Health Center Palembang Method:
The design of this research is analytic with cross-sectional
survey . This research was conducted at the Merdeka
Public Health Center in Palembang. This research was
conducted in August 2016. The population in this study
were all toddlers (1-5 years) who went to the Merdeka
Public Health Center in Palembang. The sample size was
105 respondents, which were obtained according to the
inclusion and exclusion criteria with purposive
sampling technique. The independent variables in this
study were basic immunization and nutritional status, and
the dependent variable in this study was the incidence of
ARI. Data in this study were obtained by questionnaire
and checklist sheet. The analysis in this study used
univariate and bivariate ( Chi-Square test ) Results: There
was a relationship between basic immunization (p = 0.026)
and nutritional status (p = 0.035) with ARI events in
under fives. Discussion: Basic immunization status that is
complete and supported by good nutritional status is very
good in the prevention of Acut Respiratory Infection
(ARI) in infants. Health workers at the Puskesmas can
provide health education to the community, especially
mothers who have children under five to be able to
complete basic immunization status and meet good
nutrition for toddlers to prevent ARI. Conclusion: Basic
immunization status that is complete and supported by
good nutritional status is very good in the prevention of
ARI in infants. Suggestion: Health workers in Puskesmas
can provide health education to the community, especially mothers who have todllers to be able to complete basic
immunization status and meet good nutrition for toddlers
to prevent ARI</text>

of women and children directed at improving the quality of life and the role of women. In the postpartum
period the mother cares for her baby with breastfeeding. To help the success in breastfeeding, warm steam
therapy is needed to stimulate milk production. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of
warm steam therapy to increase maternal production of postpartum mothers. This research used quantitative
and qualitative approach with mixed methodology design. Sampling technique used purposive sampling and
obtained 32 people in treatment and 32 in control group. Quantitative analysis used independent and
dependent samples test paired t-test and qualitative used non-statistical analysis through logical inference
based on actual considerations and conditions. Result showed the average breast milk production before
treatment was 97.19 with SD=15.077 and after treatment was 103.59 with SD=11,447. Treatment with
warm steam therapy gave affects for the production of breast milk (p=0.017). Conclusions: treatment with
warm steam therapy was very beneficial for the health of post-partum mothers. Therefore, warm steam
therapy should be used as a model of post-partum maternal care at home.</text>

any problems when do it. Mother’s psychological factors are affect to increase the production
of breast milk. The complementary of warm steam with peppermint aromatherapy, can be
done to obtain relaxation toward the physical condition and psychological postpartum. The
purpose of this research to know the influence of warm steam with peppermint aromatherapy
to production of breast milk on mother’s postpartum. Methods: The design of research is
quasi experimental pretest-posttest with control group. The sampling technique research was
use consecutive sampling. The samples to this research is mothers postpartum with normal
childbirth, totaled 15 samples for the intervention group and 15 samples to the control group.

Results: Data analysis to this research use different analysis mean dependent sample paired t-
test. The result of statistical tests obtained p value = 0.084, so can be concluded there is no

difference breast milk production between the control group with intervention group before
given warm steam with peppermint aromatherapy. Peppermint aroma can make skeletal
muscle relax, so blood vessels will vasodilation to increase blood flow into the breast.
Conclusion: Statistic test results obtained p value = 0.001, it can be inferred there is
difference between the production of breast milk the control group with intervention group
after given treatment warm stream with peppermint aromatherapy. Therefore, mother’s
postpartum still need trained to able to perform a warm steam therapy with aroma peppermint
