<text>ABSTRACT
Background : Postpartum blues is a mild affective disorder syndrome that
appears in the first week after delivery. The incidence of postpartum blues at
Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2019 was 46.7%. If the postpartum
blues don't go away, this situation can develop into postpartum depression.
Research Objectives: To analyze the factors that can cause postpartum
blues at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang in 2021. Research Methods:
The design of this study was quantitative analytical survey with a crosssectional approach with a sample size of 60 people using purposive
sampling. Results: The results of statistical tests using chi-square show that
there are 3 variables that are related, namely age (p value = 0.015) parity (p
value = 0.000) and social support (p value = 0.001) with postpartum blues
and there are 3 variables that have no relationship The significant ones were
education (p value = 0.987), occupation (p value = 0.528), and type of
delivery (p value = 0.842) with postpartum blues. Discussion &
Suggestion: After the birth process the mother's responsibility increases
with the presence of a newborn baby and causes the mother to experience
sudden mood swings, feel sad, uneasy, lonely and cry for no reason, the
parity factor affects the mother's experience in taking care of her baby so the
support and attention of the family is needed by the mother. The results of
this study are expected to be used as input for considering policies regarding
early detection or screening for the possibility of postpartum blues to
postpartum mothers and the screening can be part of a permanent
assessment of postpartum mothers at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang</text>

                <text>ABSTRACT
Background: In the era of the Covid-19 pandemic, the need of nurses in hospitals
has increased along with the increasing number of Covid cases. The positive case
data in Indonesia as of June 1st, 2021 reached 1,826,527. As a service provider,
nurses in dealing with Covid patients must still provide professional services.
QNWL can describe the extent of the working life quality of nurses that affected
the performance of the organization, including the turnover rate of nurses.
Objective: to find the relationship between QNWL and turnover at Muhammadyah
Palembang Hospital. Methods: using an analytical descriptive research design with
a cross sectional approach. The sample contains 70 respondents with purposive
sampling technique who works in non-intensive and intensive inpatient rooms. Data
is collected by using the standard QNWL and Anticipated Turnover Scale
questionnaires. Data is analysed by using Fisher’s Exact Test. Results: The overall
level of QNWL of nurses and QNWL dimensions are in the good category, yet the
work world dimension and the level of nurse turnover intention are in the low
category and there is no relationship between QNWL and nurse turnover.
Discussion and Suggestion: QNWL is not the main factor in the intention of nurse
turnover during the Covid-19 pandemic in this study, but there are other factors that
influence the turnover such as increased workload, inappropriate compensation,
negative stigma on society, mental burden and factors of age, gender, marital status,
education level, workspace and length of work that trigger nurses for intending the
turnover. Based on the results of this study, further research should be carried out
qualitatively by using more variables and larger samples so that the expected results
can be more optimal. </text>

                <text>ABSTRACT
Background : Hypertension is one of the highest causes of death in Indonesia. In
the incidence of hypertension risk factors are divided into two, namely risk factors
that cannot be changed (age, gender, heredity) and risk factors that can be changed
(obesity, physical activity, smoking, excessive salt consumption, stress and
hormonal balance). Understanding the risk factors associated with the incidence of
hypertension will help in effective prevention efforts. The purpose of this study was
to determine the determinants of hypertension in the elderly at the working area of
the Padang Selasa Public Health Center in Palembang in 2021.
Methods : Using analytical survey research method with cross sectional design.
Sampling was done by purposive sampling technique as many as 106 respondents.
The results of bivariate analysis using chi-square test and multivariate using binary
logistic regression.
Results : Bivariate analysis showed that the variables that were statistically
significantly related to hypertension in the elderly were heredity history and the
incidence of stress with p<0.05. Meanwhile, the results of multivariate analysis
showed that heredity (OR=0.089; p=0.0005; 95% CI= 0.033-0.239) was the most
dominant factor in the incidence of hypertension in the elderly elderly at the
working area of the Padang Selasa Public Health Center in Palembang in 2021.
Elderly people with a history of heredity have a higher risk (OR 12.008) than the
elderly who do not have a history of heredity.
Discussion and suggestion : For further researchers, it is recommended to
consider other factors that can affect hypertension in the elderly so that they have
different criteria and maximum research results</text>

Background: Hypertension can be a serious problem because when it is not well
taken care of as early as possible, it will develop and cause dangerous
complications such as heart failure, congestive kidney failure, stroke, sight
problem and kidney problem. Hypertension can be prevented by avoiding the
factors that cause it. This study aims to find out and analyze the relationship of
diet and physical activity with blood pressure of people with hypertension.
Method: Type of analytic observational research with cross sectional design.
Sampling in this study using non probability sampling technique, with a purposive
sampling approach of 42 respondents. The results of data analysis conducted are
univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with Chi Square test. Result: From the
data analysis carried out, namely univariate analysis and bivariate analysis with
Chi Square test. The results of this study showed that 64.0% had a poor diet with
uncontrolled hypertension, and 69.6% had mild activity with uncontrolled
hypertension. Conclusion: This study showed that there was a significant
relationship between diet and blood pressure in hypertension patients (p-value
0.004, OR=8.296) significantly and physical activity significantly increased blood
pressure in hypertensive patients (p-value 0.002)</text>

Background: Hypertension is a cardiovascular disease problem with a
very high prevalence, including in Indonesia. Hypertension is the biggest
comorbid factor that causes death from COVID19. Hypertension can cause
problems with low quality of life. Smoking and sleep quality can affect the quality
of life of people with hypertension. Purposes: The purpose of this study was to see
the relationship between sleep quality and smoking with quality of life of
hypertensive patients during the COVID-19 period. Methods: Method using a
cross sectional approach. Sampling in this study is a non-probability sampling
technique with a purposive sampling approach of 70 respondents. Data collection
using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index questionnaire (PSQI), Smoking
questionnaire with the Brinkman Index, and the EuroQol-5 Dimension
questionnaire. Results: The results of the analysis used the Chi-Square test and
the Mann-Whitney test. Results It shows that the average respondent is 60.31
years old, female 67.1%, normal body mass index 58.6%, average systolic blood
pressure is 148.43 mmHg, average diastolic blood pressure is 92.07 mmHg, poor
sleep quality 60%, not smoking 75.7%, average smoking degree 57.24, poor
quality of life 62.9%. The results of the analysis showed that the quality of sleep
with quality of life (p value 0.0005), smoking habits with quality of life (p value
0.028), the degree of smoking with quality of life (p value 0.022). Conclusion: It
was concluded that there was a relationship between sleep quality and smoking
with the quality of life of patients with hypertension. The results of this study can
be input for health workers to provide health education about the importance of
maintaining the quality of sleep and smoking during this Covid-19 period, so that

                <text>ABSTRACT
Background: The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on health workers, including
nurses. Nurses are at risk of being exposed, infected and experiencing other
health problems, besides that nurses are also at risk of experiencing mental health
aspects that greatly affect the quality of life and productivity of health services,
namely the risk of burnout syndrome or mental fatigue. Burnout is mental fatigue
that lasts long enough. Purposes: This study aims to identify the determinant
factors associated with burnout in nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Methods: This type of research is an analytic survey with a cross sectional
design, with a sample size of 63 respondents and the sampling method is
purposive sampling. Bivariate data analysis with chi square and multivariate with
logistic regression. Results: Bivariate analysis showed that the variables
statistically significantly related to nursing burnout were age, marital status and
self-efficacy with p<0.05. While the results of the multivariate analysis showed
that self-efficacy (RP 0.029; 95% CI 0.004-0.197) was the most dominant factor
causing nurse burnout at Bhayangkara Hospital Palembang. Burnout in nurses
with low self-efficacy has a risk seven times (OR 7,000) higher than nurses with
high self-efficacy. Discussion and suggestions: In this study, most nurses
experienced burnout. Self efficacy is the most related factor to nurse burnout.
Burnout in nurses with low self efficacy has a risk seven times higher than nurses
with high self efficacy, but burnout is also influenced by age and marital status.
So that further researcher are advised to consider other factors that can affect
burnout so that they have maximum criteria and research results</text>

Old age is a phase of decline in intellectual and physical abilities, and
experiencing structural and functional damage to the large arteries that carry
blood away from the heart causes more severe hardening of the arteries and high
blood pressure. Hypertension is a condition in which a person experiences an
increase in blood pressure above normal which results in an increase in
morbidity and mortality The purpose of this study was to determine the
effectiveness of giving garlic boiled water on blood pressure in the elderly with
hypertension at the Harapan Kita Elderly Social Institution in Palembang City.
This study uses a quasi-experimental research design with a non-equivalent
control group design. The sampling technique in this study was non-porbality
sampling with a purposive sampling approach. With a sample of 15 respondents
in the intervention group and 15 respondents in the control group. Analysis of the
data in this study used the Mann Withney U statistical test. Based on the results of
the analysis using the Mann Withney U parametric test, the average blood
pressure before and after administration of garlic boiled water with p Value =
0.000 for systolic blood pressure and p Value = 0.002 for diastolic blood
pressure., where the p value of systolic and diastolic blood pressure is smaller
than the value of (0.05) which means that there is a significant effect between the
administration of garlic boiled water and systolic and diastolic blood pressure.
There is a significant difference in the average blood pressure before and after
giving garlic boiled water. The results of this study can be input for the caretaker
of the elderly social institution, our hope in overcoming high blood pressure in
